In celebration of the Free Funk release, we have gone through the archives and put up some unreleased music and demos in mp3 format. Enjoy.

"City Music" by Muruga: 1970's Muruga. This was transferred from an old cassette tape to mp3.

"Dandelion Wine" by Muruga: Dandelion Wine was taken from a March '78 Detroit show at Bakers Keyboard Lounge. Personnel included Muruga, Perry Robinson, and Peter Madcat Ruth. This was transferred from an old cassette tape to mp3.

"Soda Jerks" by Muruga & The Soda Jerks: Soda Jerks was recorded in the 80's while Muruga was under the umbrella of Uncle Jam records. This was transferred from an old cassette tape to mp3.

"Johnny Zero" by Muruga & The Soda Jerks: Another Soda Jerks song. Transferred from old cassette tape to mp3.

"Air Head REMIX" by Muruga UFM: This is a remix of the song Air Head which was on Muruga UFM's "Rock the Planet" CD. The remix was done by George Clinton and was never released. Transferred from an old cassette tape to mp3.

"Muruga & The Worms" by Cosmic Pig: This was from a project between Muruga & James Gurley called Cosmic Pig. Cosmic Pig was never released. Transferred from studio rough mix to mp3.

"LaRose Jam" by Pat LaRose & Muruga: This was record in the 90's while Muruga was in Detroit for a visit. Pat & Muruga were long time friends and they got together and did some improv recording at the Golden Section in East Pointe, MI. This cut also features Pat's son on bass. Pat has since passed away. Transferred from an old cassette tape to mp3.

"Unnamed Blues Song" by Muruga: This work in progress features Muruga, Perry Robinson, & Madcat and was inspired by John Lee Hooker whom Muruga often backed up in the 1960's.

"Rama Rama" by Muruga GVCB: Rama Rama is an out take from the "One Global Village" recording sessions.

"Witches Brew Jam" by Muruga GVCB: This is from a benefit concert Muruga GVCB played at the Witches Brew on 2/22/2004. The jam also features Mike Hampton & Frank Annunziata on guitar and Shakin Negan on shakers. Transferred from a live recording to mp3.

"Thar Song" by Free Funk: Thar Song is an out take from the Free Funk sessions. It is a Perry Robinson composition. Transferred from a rough mix to mp3.
